Floating Point is a custom Frers 40
designed by German Frers, Jr. and build in 1983 by New Orleans
Marine. Floating Point has been significantly modified; a
6,800 lb. 5'6" delta bulb keel replaced the original fin, and a
5' telescoping carbon-fiber/aluminum sprit pole was added.
Floating Point is currently sailed and raced in the New
England area out of Newport, RI.
